Thinking First

I have just moved from my daughter's blog to mine and want to suggest that you skip over there to her blog and read her description of my brother-in-law who just passed away. She has such a wonderful way with words and I think you will appreciate this blog. Her description of Brother MC is perfect.
When I think of MC, I remember the way he always hesitated before answering a question or before making any comments. After thinking about this, I realize what he was doing. He was such a kind person that he would never want to hurt anyone's feelings, so when he spoke, he had always chosen the right words to say, the right words that the listeners needed to hear. Now, I believe we can all take a lesson from MC. Think before we speak, choose our words carefully. MC had so many, many friends; now, I understand why. He was an honest, caring, and tactful individual, one that others would seek his opinions. I wish I were so respected. I will have to work on this.
