Friends: The Best part of Everyday

A cool day here today but no complaints. Last night was a wonderful night out with a few of the girls. We enjoyed the concert presented by The Reflections, a 60's DooWop group: they were great!! Their biggest hit was "Romeo and Juliet" but they had many others they sang.
Tonight was Bingo night and, as usual, that was great fun, especially since a few of my friends and I won a little. Socializing is the best part!
Tomorrow, we have a park meeting where some will present their gripes and concerns and we will probably learn how much the rent will go up next year. Then tomorrow night is more bingo in the adjoining park. One of the best part is to look out each day and see many friends just chatting, taking walks, riding bikes, etc.and soon we are joining in with the socializing. Having friends is wonderful!!

February Fun

What a beautiful day we are experiencing here! My niece and nephew who live a few miles away have provided two wonderful meals for the group of 13! We are go have another cookout on Feb 17 for Valentine's Day. This time, our cookout will include barbecued ribs and chicken!

Tonight, a few of the girls and I will be attending a dinner show with guests The Reflections, a 50's and 60's group. We are looking forward to that show. Wish you people were here.
