Praising God Every Day
Weather has been beautiful in Florida though somewhat cool at night; nevertheless, with the warmth of a sweatshirt on several occasions, we have continued to enjoy our walks around the park with our friends from various states. A major advantage of RVing is the opportunity it provides to meet folks from across the states and to make new lasting friends. Although it's difficult to leave family and friends behind, it's also wonderful to spend time with winter friends for a few weeks. Weather up north is breaking now and many of our friends will be departing this week and next week. We will miss spending time in the great outdoors with them but we wish them a safe trip home.
Our time also is coming to a close for another season. Until then, we do have plans to socialize. Tomorrow, some of us are attending a concert given by the 60's group, The Classics! This should be a great evening of entertainment. Today we attended a concert of the Lee County Concert Band (FL has a Lee Co too). We have enjoyed other concerts by The Platters and The Reflections, both excellent 50's and 60's groups. Tomorrow will be our last concert of the season but there is an off Broadway play that some of us will be attending in a few days.
As you can probably tell, to us retirees it seems that we have 6 Saturdays and 1 Sunday in every week! God has been so good to all of us and I praise Him every day.
