Fight for the Sites We Adore!

Beginning around 4:00-5:00 AM tomorrow, a line will be forming in front of the park office. Everyone here who does not plan to spend 3 + months in the park next year must sign up for a site beginning at 7:00 AM. Most people want their current site back so they come mid-morning to fight for the site. Unfortunately, the office staff has booked our site to someone who has never even seen or been in the park before! I don't understand this since there are some sites available that have daily and/or weekly turnover rates. Why do we have to move? We have been on this site for 7 years now but longevity cannot win over $$$$$$! They did the same thing to my brother last year and he had to move to a site not very close to us. He was able to get a site closer to the crowd next year by signing up for 3 months. Also, all of our other friends have signed up for 3 months. Well, the fact is, that we don't care to stay 3 months. We are staying the longest this year, 2 months, but next year, especially since they do the way they do in the office, we will only stay maybe 4-5 weeks next year. Who knows, we may decide not to come at all. I do plan to stand in line tomorrow like everyone else but I don't plan to go out there before 5:00 -6:00 AM. I'll let you know what the outcome is for everyone tomorrow and if there are any fights as a result of these stupid rules!!!
