Be Elite!

I received an invitation today to attend a retirement reception for 3 people in my office where I used to work. Wow! I remember when one of them had only a few years of experience and now they are retiring!! Life goes by so swiftly and the older one becomes, the faster it spins. A word to the young and still employed: enjoy your days; don't wish them away because you cannot get them back; work hard at whatever you do; accomplish all you can; and, build those memories! I'm going to that reception tomorrow and I'll put on my best smile and happiest face. Then I'll look them square in the eyes and say: "Welcome to the elite group! Now, put on your tennis shoes and join the fun!"
