The Long Flight

I was just reading my daughter, Kendra's blog and it was a reminder that it was 3 years ago today that she and Mark left on a very long flight for China, early in the morning, traveling to get a pretty little daughter. Their son, our grandson, 8-month-old Clay, was spending the nights and some days with us while they were gone. Mark's parents kept Clay some of the days but, for consistency sake, his nights were spent in the same crib and the same room. I remember learning that I could follow the flight on the internet, at least until it left a certain area. I was very nervous about their going but I did enjoy Clay so much. He was such a good baby; he slept well, ate well, and exhibited a very pleasing disposition.
