Life in the Park

Every day just at dusk, there are about 20 or more bicyclists, including two-wheeled and three-wheeled versions, who come riding through our park. They live in the adjacent park. Today, my friend, Rose and I were out riding when we saw them coming so we stopped and let them pass. When we looked at the cyclists bringing up the rear, there were our husbands, plus several more guys from our park following along harrassing them. They yelled for us to join in the fun and so here we go! Let me say, they were in much better shape than the two of us and we had a time trying to keep up with them, let alone harrassing them. It was fun just trying to keep up. Some residents of our park were standing outside watching and laughing. They knew all of us were from this park and just making fun of those other "old/older than us" folks! It was fun anyway.

Life in the parks is the same as everywhere else. One of our residents from Rhode Island lost his wife yesterday morning. The lady had just been released from the hospital Saturday. A gentleman in the adjacent park also lost his wife yesterday so, as you see, there has been sadness in the parks.
