Photos of the Frescoes

We have had to stay inside the RV today because of the rains (I'm not complaining because rain is so badly needed in this area of the state). Here are some more photos taken of the frescoes of St. Mary's Episcopal Church. The fresco of a pregnant Mary was and is quite controversial so we were told and I understand that. I have some problems with it myself even though they can be seen all over Europe (I couldn't exactly feel comfortable with them either). The third fresco is one of John the Baptist as he preached. He is also the one who baptised Jesus. Notice how clearly the resurrected Jesus shows up in the fresco to the right.

I hope you enjoy these photos. They turned out much better than I thought they were since it was quite dark inside St. Mary's.
