Party Time Begins

We had our Sunday School class Christmas dinner/party tonight and I must say that I feel like the turkey that didn't escape the bullet! My sister and I went down to the church early this afternoon to decorate the tables, bake the potatoes, and set up the place for the party. We had ribeye steaks and all the necessary fixings. The fellowship was great as usual. After the meal, we played the gift game (I don't know what it's called but everyone brings a gift, we draw numbers and select a gift accordingly. Others can steal your gift if they prefer to do that instead of taking another unopened gift). My gift was 2 Hallmark Santa mugs, stacked to make a complete Santa; very cute. Some had their gifts taken from them, many just for fun when they thought that person would not like to relinquish theirs. It was a lot of fun no matter what. Now, we will have our Baptist Women's Christmas meeting with heavy snacks on Monday. The husbands are invited to attend with us on this occasion.
