Super Bowl Silence
Silence; that's right, for 2 reasons. First, the RV park always goes silent after 6:00 PM, or dark, whichever comes first. Tonight I figured we would hear a little action since the Super Bowl was going on. All afternoon, we heard the folks voicing their opinions of the 2 teams. Most of the park residents were supporting Brady and the Patriots, mainly because there are so many snowbirds here from the New England states. Then, on the other hand, there are many of us here from other states such as NY, PA, MD, etc., who were pulling for the underdog. Don and I agreed that this game was the best Super Bowl game we have seen in many years. It seems that so many of them have been runaways. There were a lot of shocked folks in the park tonight; thus, the second reason for the silence: the majority are unhappy because their team lost and they are remaining very quiet. I'm happy though. I don't think my team won last year; however, the funny thing is, we get all excited and so many of us cannot even remember who won last year and especially who the teams were that actually played. Who were they?
