Picnic at the Park

This is the day for the big picnic in the park. They provide a free catered lunch for everyone in front of the fellowship hall (too many of us to get inside). We will be fed fried chicken, beans, chips, potatoes, drinks and desserts. Afterwards, a combo will entertain us for a couple of hours or so. I think the temperature might be just about right to sit in the SW Florida sun; it's supposed to be a high of 75 today. Some years they have had cloggers here and a young family of entertainers.

No one in our crowd won at Bingo last night but we will have another shot at it tonight in the adjacent village. I have only won over there once: last week I won one game with someone else and then I won a door prize. I don't go to win though, I go to have a night of entertainment with friends. We only spend less than $10 each night and one can't go to a movie for that or eat out at most restaurants for that either.
