A New Week Begins
Today was church day and I was ready for that. Our pastor did a great job today as he gave many factors which guarantee that God's church will always survive. He referred to Rick Warren, author of the book, "Purpose-Driven Life". If you haven't read this book, I can strongly recommend it as excellent reading. Our Sunday School teacher also taught a good lesson about loving our enemies.
After church, my granddaughter, Livvy, came running up to me and wanted to search my pockets. She was sure that I had a lollipop in there for her. I hate that I didn't, but she did find one at my house after she finished her lunch. Our choir director said she was trying to teach the little children a song which included all the books of the Old Testament and that two-year-old Livvy was able to pronounce every book correctly, including Ecclesiastes!! She is a joy to watch and listen to. My two-year-old grandson, Clay, also wins the hearts of the ladies at church with his pretty smile, charming dimple and angelic expressions.
Monday will be rolling around too soon and many of you will be going back to work. I wish for each of you a great day and a wonderful week. Enjoy your days and keep on smiling!
