You're a Winner!

I have to take just a minute and blog about a young lady whom I have never met but with whom I feel must be a kindred spirit! I only know her through her blogs but I can tell that she is a young lady with many talents and who should go far in her future endeavors. I have read her creative writings and have been more impressed with them than I have with many of the various books that I have read over the years. This sixteen-year-old has the maturity of someone older, doesn't mind corresponding with an older "grandmother" type, yet appears to be very interested in her friends while getting the most out of her final high school years. Her goal is to become a writer someday and I believe she will accomplish her goal if she continues along her current path. I find it refreshing to read the blog of a young person who keeps her blogging "clean", written with style, and on topics that might appeal to all ages. That's what it takes to be a success, I'm told (I've never written books but I have been encouraged to do so in the past. I have written articles and would love to write a book but probably never will. I'm waiting for my young friend to write one). I expect great things from you, R! You're a winner!
