Rainy Monday

For a change, we awakened to the pitter pat of rain on the roof, not much but enough to at least settle some of the dust here. Because they are excavating the lot next door, there has been a lot of dust swirling around, especially on the other side of our park. I know they are happy to see the raindrops. It makes for a very quiet and somewhat deserted-looking park. Funny, but that's exactly what it is here: deserted. I can sit in our RV and see 7 vacant RV sites compared to 6 occupied sites. Like so many of the other snowbirds, I'm about ready to head North, too. There are many things I will miss when we leave and many friends; however, most of my friends who are still here will be leaving by April 15. I think Hubby is also about ready to go since only two of his friends are still here to ride bikes with him. The rest don't ride bikes, motorcycles maybe but not bikes.

This will be a great day to hit the many malls and other shops that I haven't been to. Perhaps I will spend part of the day on my preferences.
