Limited Vocabulary: Sign of Limited Intelligence
I can't believe it has so long since I last blogged! It isn't that I have been that busy either; I just have been spending most of my spare time on Facebook instead. Sorry, readers.
It has finally started warming up in Florida; in fact, we have been able to wear our shorts during the middle of the day before it begins cooling down. Not much new has been happening here other than the warm weather. People are beginning to pack up their belongings as they prepare to return to the North. I believe there are 28 vacant sites here tonight (well, it was at 6:00 PM).
Bingo was fun again tonight but I didn't win; my good friend from Indiana did win and I was happy for her, especially since she hasn't won very much at all. Tomorrow night, we will try our hand at the adjacent park, hoping that perhaps one of us will win a game. They have higher prizes there too.
Some of us went to see the Broadway play, "Jersey Boys" last Saturday night. I, for one, was very disappointed. The music was wonderful, all great hits of the early 60's. What I didn't appreciate was the language! Their favorite word was one very ugly four-letter word, a word that just wasn't necessary to the story. I must have been very sheltered in my youth because I don't recall people using that word in the 60's. I was also told that anyone who uses that vulgar language had a very limited vocabulary. It certainly makes me think they aren't so intelligent after all.

Disregarding the fact that this language is accurate for the era and socioeconomic status of the characters... There are language warnings all over the theatre as well as on ALL websites for all productions of Jersey Boys. Your ignorance is your own fault.
