Who and Whose are You?

It's Tuesday and I'm feeling fine, mighty fine! I just got back from the PO where I mailed valentines to my family members. I'm missing some addresses so that makes it difficult to send some (I have to make a phone call to get these addresses).

This is Bingo night coming up and I feel like I should win something. Even if I don't, it won't deter my mood. Why am I happy? I'm alive! Yes, just to be alive and able to talk, to smile at passersby, to wave a friendly hello, to see the sun shining, to hear the breeze gently causing my drying clothes to flutter, to enjoy the salty taste of the salty air on a sandy beach, to feel the warmth of a handshake, and, lastly, to get in those dreaded 10,000 steps! Just as the pastor who spoke at Coretta Scott King's funeral said, I know who and whose I am! I hope all of you know who and whose you are. It certainly makes for a happy feeling. Sometimes I don't really seem to know who I am but when I stop and remember whose I am, it causes me to delight in the day. I pray that you, too, feel the same delight for the same reason.
