Aging & Still Having Fun!

In just a few minutes, my younger sister and I will be going to my older sister's home to take her out for an evening of fun and fellowship. What is fun to us, you may wonder. Well, it's much different from most folks, especially the younger group. We will be going to the mall and to dinner...that's it. And no, we won't be looking the guys over either (well, maybe we will notice that there are some around). Our older sister recently lost her husband as you may have read about in another blog so we want to spend some time together (that's the way it is with close families and we are very tight).
Two of us are already senior citizens and "Sister Babycakes" is reaching for that status symbol. There is much to enjoy about being a senior though. One thing is that you don't have to be so concerned about how you dress or act: no excuses are usually asked for so long as you are decent, and of course, we are. George Burns once said that you can't help getting older, but you don't have to get old. That's the way we feel. Let's go have a good time, Gals!
