Proud Mother

I have just returned from a dinner meeting of our National Honor Society. Tonight was the night for installing new officers for the 2006-2008 biennium. As a past president, I was honored when asked to perform the installations. Why would I be so excited to be in charge of this? Because my daughter, Kendra, is the newly-elected president! And, she will be a fine president! She has already identified her first project which is a great one! I'm very proud of Kendra and her many accomplishments. She is a nationally certified teacher which is also a great honor. Her students' scores on end of grade tests are always excellent. Why wouldn't any mom be proud to call her daughter!
