Wrapping Gifts
This has been a day filled with gift wrapping. I've had some difficulty getting much wrapped, however. First, our snowbird friends from Ohio, called from Florida begging us to come on down. Now, that I will not do. I just cannot miss Christmas with my family and friends. We will go after the first of the year but not now. I can't understand how some can give up being with family.
Second, the little grandchildren came running in and I knew that was the end of wrapping for awhile. They want to help but it would just slow me down. I will let them put the presents under the tree tomorrow when they come by after church.
Yesterday, we had to keep them while Mark and Kendra went to their Sunday School party. We read books, drew on chalkboards, put puzzles together, brushed teeth, said prayers, and tucked in the little sweeties. That was so much fun! They are so sweet. Clay has the cutest room! His mom has papered it like a pirate ship and when he is lying in bed, it looks like he's on board! When I went in to Livvy's room to kiss her goodnight (PaPa put her to bed), I asked it I could turn her light on and see what her room looks like. She said okay. While I was admiring her dainty room, she looked at me and said, "This is not the time to play!" I got the hint, turned out the light, and slipped out before laughing aloud!!
