News is Slow

News is slow here. Four of us took our Indiana friend out for her birthday lunch today. I think she really enjoyed this outing because she doesn't go out so much anymore since she lost her husband. It has been so windy that we haven't been able to ride our bikes since Friday and I really need to be getting that exercise. It doesn't take long to get lazy when you're mainly sitting around. Don says the last 3 days have been the longest ones he has experienced lately. Now, I don't agree with that, even when we are doing nothing. Tonight Don and I went to DQ for salads, then to the new Target nearby. We also found a station that sold its fuel for $3.01/gallon. That's the best we have found anywhere around here. I understand the cost of oil by the barrel has dropped considerably so perhaps the price will decrease...right! I think there are fewer RVers here so far. The park hasn't been full yet and usually it is. The overflow area is usually somewhat full too. If things look the same in a couple of weeks, we will know people are slowing down in their traveling.
