I made 10!!

YES!! I actually rode 10 miles on my bicycle yesterday! I was so proud of myself! And so was Don, so proud, in fact, that he took me out for dinner last night (I think he would have taken me anyway since it was Valentine's Day). I had to take a hot, hot shower to work out the kinks before going to bed. Yet, I was so proud when I awoke this morning, that I thought I would try it again; I had so much incentive! Well, I rode for 5 miles, then my friend wanted to ride to the yard sale over in the other park; that was fine, though, since that was a half mile over there. That made me ride 6 miles, so I came back to our park and rode another one and a half. That's as far as I got today because my back was hurting so badly and I also had to go to the beauty shop. Now, I have taken another hot shower and am soon to go to bed and hope it has improved tomorrow. I know that I have been overdoing it but that's the only way I can get used to riding. My doctor wants me to exercise, either walk or bike and I choose to bike. I'm having a ball too!!

Tomorrow is the big Edison Electric Parade. If I go down, I will get some pictures to post, but am not sure that we will. We have been and it's such a crowd there.
