Taking a Day Trip

It has been a warm, beautiful day in Florida. A great sale was going on downtown, so several of us had to hit that for awhile. Then, tonight, we had to go to our weekly Bingo outing. One of my friends won the jackpot of $150, the biggest jackpot of the evening! I'm glad for her. Last night, my sister-in-law won $80 and last week she won $135. I think it's about my time to win a big one; I have won several small ones so I can't really complain. One of my friends who goes with us hasn't won yet so I'm pulling for her now.

Did you see the lunar eclipse tonight? We had front row seats at our site and the night was perfect for observing it. Don and I sat outside with our binoculars and enjoyed watching the changes that occurred. It was so funny to see people going by on their golf carts while staring at us and wondering what we were doing. I guess they didn't listen to the news; therefore, not knowing about the eclipse. Looking at the moon through the binoculars caused it to look like a balloon suspended in midair; a wonderful sight to be sure.

Tomorrow, we will be going on a day trip to Wellington, suburbs of West Palm Beach I think. Don's sister and brother-in-law live there with their daughter, so we are going to spend part of the day with them. I think it will take a couple of hours or more to get there so we won't be back until sometime tomorrow night. I will try to take some photos if possible.
