Events of the Day
Today turned out to have some interesting events happening. First, we went with my brother and sister-in-law to Camping World and had lunch at Cracker Barrel. When we left there, we were unable to drive to our exit on the interstate due to a terrible three-truck accident. 50 + gallons of diesel fuel was spilled and the last I heard , there was still clean-up going on. The good thing is that everyone was able to walk away unhurt (after a visit to the hospital for a checkup). It took us three times as long to get back to our park. That's okay; sometimes we need to stop, take it slow, and think of others.
Tonight, while outside talking with a neighbor, a friend came by looking for someone who had the same kind of RV as he did. It seems that they locked themselves out and had no key with them. The other guy's key wouldn't fit; however, they were able to get in through an unlocked window. I understand how he could have locked himself out; he's scheduled to go to the hospital tomorrow to have the batteries changed in his defibrillator (?). He's been quite worried about it because it's using up his battery and that's the only thing keeping his heart beating they say. If it stops, so does his heart. I pray that all will go well with him. There are troubles everywhere and people with health problems can be found wherever we go.
