Waiting for a Phone Call

The hospital is to call sometime today and inform us of the time of Hubby's surgery tomorrow so we are just hanging loose waiting. I must say that Hubby is handling the news fairly well but I know that, inside, he is very nervous and is hating to have to backtrack so much. He has been doing so well these past 2 months; his exercises have been very successful and motion of his arm was really progressing well. They physical therapist was very pleased with his progress. Now, with a sling on his right arm for 2 months, he will not be able to move the arm and shoulder at all. I do dread this! Our son-in-law is also in a sling and will be there for another 2 months probably. I just pray that the cadaver tendons will do the job and that Hubby will heal quickly and nicely.

I was disappointed this week when we didn't have the children, especially today. I think the diversion would have been good for Hubby, helping him to keep his mind off of himself. We both mentioned the fact that we missed them. They will begin Kindergarten tomorrow, so I guess we won't be having them for some time. I do hope that they will enjoy school though, even though we will continue to miss them.
