Departures are Depressing

We started our day with a beautiful morning for walking to church and the service was wonderful as always. We will really miss our Florida pastor; what a caring man he is. He calls everyone at the church by first name every time he sees any of us (I wish I had such a talent). Jon has been our pastor ever since we have been spending time in Florida (this is our 12th year), so we do consider him our pastor/preacher. In fact, he has even visited our hometown on 2 occasions (he attended the church of my brother when he came).

The rains arrived this afternoon around 3 and created a small pond in the street. I love the rain though and I enjoyed listening to the heavenly musical sounds.

More and more people are departing our park causing unhappy feelings; last night we had 61 vacant sites and that will continue to grow; however, we are having a few over nighters come in. I was happy to hear from some of our friends who have left and emailed me that they arrived home safely. Next week, we will begin our packing up; we haven't decided our definite departure date but it will be before April 4.
