Taking the Good with the Not so Good

I am just about ready to forget blogging! The program had a glitz and wouldn't allow me in! But here I am now.

Our time is almost up here in the deep South; I am excited about seeing all my family and friends; however, I am unhappy about leaving my snowbird friends. We have had such a great time together: dining out, traveling, exercising, playing Bingo, going to church together, enjoying concerts, picnicking in the park, watching the rains from inside the RV, being able to look out each day and see lots of people walking the street and stopping to chat, walking across the street to the flea market, riding to the post office on the golf cart with a good friend, riding our bikes down to the corner drugstore, and on and on and on. Being at home is also great, especially to be with family. I just would like to be able to see a friend from my window and enjoy sitting in the sun or shade with them.

We will soon be packing on and that I dread. It's much more difficult to do when we have been stationary for such a long time. The worst part, however, is unloading everything when we do get home. Oh well, we take the good with the not so good.
