Do What You Got to Do!

Yesterday wasn't so bad at all. My diabetes education class turned out to be quite interesting. The instructors even served us a rather tasty snack! I'm hoping that the information presented will be helpful to all of us 5 students. A few of them have a much more serious problem than I and their blood sugar levels are quite a bit higher than mine. One has been a diabetic for 1 year; one for 20 years, and the rest are recently diagnosed. I don't mind attending the three remaining sessions and hope they will be as informative as the first. Each remaining session will be taught by instructors who have different specialties so that should make it more interesting.

Today, I was busy working on the program for the family reunion coming up on Sunday. It's looking pretty good so far. We hope to finish our preparations tomorrow (we really don't have much choice, do we?) Once that is over I will be able to concentrate on my scrapbooking and other interests. With our high school class reunion coming up next year, our fiftieth, I will need to see about getting involved with the group working on that project. I'm also on the committee representing our class for our big school reunion planned for next year. That committee will soon become quite busy I'm sure. And I cannot forget that Don will be wanting to go camping many times before all of this happens. As my brother-in-law always said, "everyone's got to do what he's got to do." That's me, too...I have to do what I have to do.
