Ach Oh!! Oh no!

What a day this has turned out to be. I awoke this morning to the beautiful rainy day and looking forward to a day of leisure...not! Don had to take the motorcoach to the CATERPILLAR place to have the engine checked. He had to have it there by 7:30 this morning and it was raining quite hard at the time. When he arrived at the CAT parking lot, he made a right turn into the bay area. Unfortunately, he turned too sharp and hit the front bumper of a Ford 250 pickup that was parked too close to the entrance way. Don didn't realize that he had struck the vehicle until he had traveled about 10 feet; therefore, there was damage along the side of the RV for 10 feet! I haven't seen it yet since the CAT people wanted to keep it to do the troubleshooting on the engine. The adjuster will be here the first of the week to appraise the damage then we will have to locate a good body shop to repair the damages. Don says we will probably need a new compartment door for one thing. So, now, I suppose we will be home for some time awaiting the completion of repairs and everyone knows how slowly that takes place. We never outgrow the waiting game.

I have almost completed all my plans for the family reunion Sunday but was delayed today due to the aforementioned problems. The DVD we prepared looks pretty good although, if I had more time, I would make some changes.

I still say today has been a beautiful day. I do love rainy days except for accidents that may occur. I just thank the Lord for every single day He is giving me. What about you?
