Jumping the Track
I had a nice surprise today when my daughter called and said she would be coming in this afternoon to spend the night with us. From here, she will go to visit her grandmother and help her out since she is virtually blind. All of us enjoyed the evening together with Kendra and her family joining in. Clay didn't want to go home when Livvy and her dad went so he stayed with us. Playing alone wasn't too much fun so he had me playing pool with him and he was so cute trying to get the balls in the pockets. Later, when it was time for him to go home, he spotted the toy castle which I had bought for an older grandson and he was all excited about playing with that. I told him we would play with it tomorrow but he was unhappy about not being able to play tonight. he's probably home in bed right now dreaming of dragons and knights! As for me, I'm ready to do the same. Marty has just retired after doing some of her fancy kick boxing and topping it off with some yoga. I'm tired now (just from watching her).
I seem to be at a lull when deciding what to write about. My creativity seems to have left me. Perhaps soon I will be back on track (I feel like I've jumped it). I feel like the bank commercial in which the little lady is told to roll when she jumps off the train; well, she didn't show us a very graceful landing when she jumped and that's where I am right now. Please don't give up on me. I'll try to come up with more interesting topics.
