Where's Wally World?

I have 2 very good friends about whom I am going to blog today (I know they are both expecting this to happen and, of course, I couldn't let them down). Last night, our Sunday School class went out to eat together and we had a wonderful time; but, the highlight of my trip happened while we were standing in the buffet line. Let me back up and tell you that Friend #1, several weeks ago, had asked me just where Wally World was since I had blogged about it on various occasions. Another friend and I had to laugh at her because we thought everyone knew this term referred to Wal-Mart...NOT! #1 was quite shocked when we explained this to her. Well, evidently, friend #2 got in on the tail end of that conversation weeks ago. She, too, has been reading my blog in which I referred to Wally World. So, last night, Friend #2, very seriously, asked me if Wally World sold wedding gifts and things. I told her that I had never seen any there because I had never looked for any there. Another friend of mine told her that they did because she had seen plenty and had actually purchased some. Friend #2 then said she was asking because she didn't want to drive that far if they didn't carry them. Now, this is when I became curious. Where did she think she had to drive to I wondered. I knew there was a Wally World very close to her home, not the one I shop at, however. Then she said, "I have never shopped at a Wally World before." Now, that's when I surely lost my composure! So, I asked her , "Do you mean that you have never shopped at a Wal-Mart before?" Immediately, her lights were turned on!

I wouldn't go on about this but I just couldn't help it! She's a good sport, however, and she told me to have fun with it. (And so, I will... in the morning, during Sunday School...and every other chance I get! heehee)
