Read a Book

I wouldn't say that the day has been wasted but it seems that we have been on the computer or phone all day thus far. As I mentioned in an earlier blog, Don had an accident with our motorcoach last week; a minor scrape was made along the left side about 9 feet long. Now, we are in the process of fussing (discussing) with the insurance company about getting the repairs done. It seems that the adjusters know nothing about appraising RV damages but they don't bother to contact us; therefore, we have been talking to the dealers, the manufacturer, and even some repair shops. Since the insurance company folks dropped the ball, we were told to do what we wanted and they will pay the bill. That's fine and good but why didn't they tell us this last week so that we could begin to do our investigations, etc.? We may could have even had the RV fixed by now. Don thinks that he will order the parts so that we will have them ready when the repairman gets ready. There is always a lag in getting things done there in a timely manner too, as you well know if you have ever had anything fixed. The leaves will be changing very soon and the colors will be in their glory. That means that Don will want to go the mountains to view this spectacular sight again.

I am still enjoying Beverly Lewis's books and highly recommend them to other readers. Right now, I'm reading "The Postcard", the first in a set of two. The setting is in Bird-in-Hand, PA and the main characters are Amish. Suggestion: read a book...it's relaxing and entertaining.
